Congratulations to Alex Knapp for being named the 2025 Team Member of the Third Quarter for Tioga County Public Health!

Since joining our team in September 2024 as a Public Health Technician, Alex has demonstrated exceptional dedication and professionalism in his work within the septic program. He has quickly developed extensive knowledge of septic systems, engineering design, and blueprint interpretation – skills that have made him an invaluable resource to both our team and the community. 

In addition to his work in the Septic Program, Alex plays a key role in several other areas, including the Rabies Program, nuisance complaints, water testing at children’s camps, and inspecting mobile home parks. Known for his friendly demeanor and quick wit, Alex brings positivity to every interaction—whether he’s sharing a clever pun or lending a hand to a colleague. He’s a true team player, committed to protecting the health and well-being of Tioga County residents. 

Alex lives in Newark Valley with his wife, Heidi and their beloved dog, Archimedes—affectionately known as “Archie.” In his free time, he enjoys tackling his “honey-do list,” playing video games, relaxing with Archie, mowing the lawn, and hosting backyard barbecues with friends.
