2022-23 HEAP Program begins November 1, 2022

Last Updated: 9/28/2022

The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is scheduled to open November 1, 2022. That will be the first day we can accept applications from households that are new to HEAP. Households which receive Temporary Assistance or SNAP and have verified their heating vendor will have their benefit issued to them automatically. Households which received HEAP last year will receive a HEAP application in the mail soon – this is called the “Early Outreach” process, and we strongly encourage those households to follow the instructions to apply online or submit their application as soon as possible.

Please open the attached document for additional information.
